•Born in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province in 1941, doctor of engineering, researcher of Institute of chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, expert enjoying special allowance from the State Council

•Engaged in the research of ion exchange membrane, electrodialysis, reverse osmosis membrane and h2-02 fuel cell membrane from 1965 to 1972

•1973-1978 engaged in Chemical Research of block copolymer and nylon 6

•From 1979 to 1981, he studied medical polymer at Kyoto University, Japan, and obtained a doctor's degree in engineering. From 1982 to 1993, he engaged in the research of gas separation membrane

•Since 1987, he has been engaged in the research of pervaporation membrane and its process, ultra speed, micro and nano membrane and its process

▶ research findings

•"Development of LTV oxygen enriched membrane and membrane module" won the first prize of science and technology progress award of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1988

•"Development of pervaporation membrane and pervaporation device" won the "Eighth Five Year" science and technology research achievement award of Chinese Academy of Sciences

•For more than 40 years, he has been engaged in theoretical research and application technology development in the field of separation membrane, and has been involved in almost all membrane processes. He has been engaged in a number of research projects such as national key scientific and technological projects, major research projects of Chinese Academy of Sciences, key funds of National Natural Science Foundation of China, "863" and "973". He has published 187 papers at home and abroad, applied for and authorized 11 patents, written 5 books and translated 2 books

•He has presided over many international and domestic seminars on membrane science and technology and invited reports. In recent years, he has often participated in national, provincial and ministerial level scientific and technological research, natural science foundation and major membrane engineering project evaluation and scheme demonstration
