Notice of "Symposium on climate change and water security"
Relevant units
At present, the world is experiencing climate change characterized by warming. Global warming not only has an impact on the environment, water resources, regional sea level rise, agriculture, natural vegetation, but also has a greater impact on the improvement of the quality of human life. In the process of China's modernization construction, we must attach great importance to and strive to solve the major strategic issues of actively responding to global climate change and effectively ensuring water security.
To this end, the water environment governance professional committee of China Environmental Protection Federation and Chongqing Academy of science and technology invited top academicians and experts in the industry to focus on "the impact of climate change on the water environment and coping strategies, the development strategy of rural drinking water safety assurance, case analysis and dialogue exchange of drinking water safety"
And so on. The conference aims to promote the cooperation between relevant departments and industry scholars, actively respond to global climate change and ensure the safety of drinking water in China.
