    Ma Jun (1962.7.15-), born in Ningan City, Heilongjiang Province, was male, Han nationality, and was born in Xinxian, Shandong Province. Water treatment specialist.

    In 1982, he graduated from Harbin Institute of Construction Engineering in water supply and drainage engineering (now Harbin University of Technology), and obtained master's and doctoral degree. Tongji University, postdoctoral student of Imperial College of technology.

    He is currently vice president, professor and director of Environmental College of Harbin University of technology, deputy editor in chief of water research, and vice chairman of water plant design and Operation Committee of International Water Association.

     Engaged in the research and teaching of water treatment theory and technology, established the theoretical system of different valence iron manganese oxidants, developed permanganate and ferrate pre oxidation technology, ozone catalytic oxidation advanced treatment technology, enhanced heavy metal removal technology based on the characteristics of new ecological micro interface, nano composite membrane water treatment technology, persulfate advanced oxidation technology, etc It has been used in polluted source water purification project, sewage advanced treatment and reuse project, and has played an important role in many major pollution emergency projects.
