▌Company profile

    Bishui group is located in Hankou river beach, Wuhan, a beautiful national water conservancy scenic spot. In order to accelerate the construction of national central city and "two oriented" society, strive to build an ecological livable city of "Great Lakes, great rivers and great Wuhan", support the sustainable economic and social development of Wuhan with the sustainable utilization of water resources and continuous improvement of water environment, and strengthen the main strength of investment and financing of water resources protection and water environment improvement in Wuhan. In August 2013, with the approval of Wuhan municipal Party committee and Wuhan Municipal People's government, Wuhan Bishui Group Co., Ltd., a wholly state-owned enterprise, was established on the basis of Wuhan Water Investment Company, Wuhan airport Comprehensive Development Corporation and Wuhan Urban Flood Control Survey and Design Institute, with a registered capital of 5 billion yuan.

▌Main responsibilities

    As the main body of investment and financing for the protection and utilization of water resources and the improvement of water environment, Bishui group is mainly responsible for the financing, construction, operation, maintenance and transformation of the city's water environment treatment, water resources protection and utilization, river embankment, water infrastructure, ecological forestry and other projects. Specifically, it undertook the construction of Dadong lake ecological water network, Hanyang "six lakes connected", Tianxingzhou development and utilization, landscape and supporting facilities of "two rivers and four banks"; it was responsible for water tourism and comprehensive development, participated in the construction of sewage and drainage facilities in central urban area, participated in the land reserve and development around lakes, ports and reservoirs; it was responsible for the pilot construction of sponge City, and established a joint venture group with Qingshan District government Wuhan sponge City Construction Co., Ltd., a holding company, was established to promote relevant pilot tasks. Up to now, Bishui group has successfully built a number of influential and driving Wuhan wading "new living room", "new landmark" and "new business card" such as "chuhehan Street" and "qingshanjiangtan", which has improved the ecological environment of the surrounding areas and promoted the economic development of the area.

▌Future planning

    During the 13th Five Year Plan period, the group will continue to promote the construction of Qingshan sponge city demonstration area, the comprehensive improvement projects of Xunsi River, Zhujia River, Fuhuan River, Huangxiao River, the connection of six lakes in Hanyang, the ecological water network of Dadong lake and the dredging and treatment of main lakes such as Nanhu Lake and Donghu Lake, so as to make greater contributions to the "four water co governance" in Wuhan.
