▶ Biography of characters

• n 1982, he graduated from the Department of mechanical engineering, Zhejiang University with a bachelor's degree in precision mechanical engineering. In the same year, he joined Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences;

•From 1987 to 1988, he worked as a visiting researcher in Kyushu University, Japan, engaged in the research of liquid membrane and membrane based extraction;

•In 1992, he was admitted to Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, majoring in chemical engineering. Under the guidance of Academician Yuan Quan, he was engaged in the research on the mechanism of polymer film formation. He graduated in 1997 with a doctor's degree in engineering;

• From 1999 to 2001, he worked as a postdoctoral in the National Institute of materials engineering, Singapore, and carried out the research on polyimide separation membrane;

▶Working experience

He was the project leader and deputy director of Dalian membrane engineering research and development center. Engaged in the relationship between membrane material structure and membrane performance; molecular design and synthesis of membrane materials; phase conversion into membrane thermodynamics and mass transfer dynamics; Study on mass transfer mechanism in membrane separation; membrane pollution; membrane separation application and integration technology research. He participated in the research and development of the national "sixth five year plan" and "Seventh Five Year Plan" nitrogen and hydrogen membrane separator, and undertook the research and development of the national "Eighth Five Year Plan" nitrogen rich membrane separator; took the lead in the research on organic vapor film and process in China, and obtained industrial application.

He has published more than 50 papers, applied for or authorized more than 10 patents, and participated in the preparation of "membrane technology manual" (edited by Shi Jun and others) and "chemical engineering in the 21st century" (edited by Li Jinghai and others). He is a member of the expert committee of China Membrane Industry Association, deputy director of the engineering and application Committee, consultant of the petroleum and chemical membrane technology application Committee, executive director of China seawater desalination and water reuse society, editorial board member of membrane science and technology and executive editorial board member of water treatment technology.
