China will improve urban domestic sewage treatment capacity from four aspects

However, problems such as unbalanced sewage treatment capacity, relatively weak construction and operation of sewage pipe network, low efficiency of sewage collection, and non-standard utilization and disposal of sewage sludge are still prominent.

    She said that in the future, China will start to make up for its weaknesses from four aspects, with the focus on sticking to problem orientation and targeting key links.

•Make up the short board of sewage treatment capacity, strengthen capacity building, and solve the problems of unbalanced layout and capacity mismatch.

•On the basis of overall consideration of urban layout and treatment needs, we should accelerate the construction of treatment facilities. Focus on the key regional cities such as Beijing Tianjin Hebei and Yangtze River economic belt, and put forward higher requirements for full coverage of centralized treatment facilities. In water shortage areas and water environment sensitive areas, we should promote the utilization of sewage as a useful supplement to conventional water resources for ecological water supplement, industrial water use and municipal water use.

•Make up the short board of the collection pipe network, improve the collection efficiency, and solve the problem of blank area and old pipe network renewal.

•Emphasis on "integration of plant and network", combined with the transformation of old residential areas, to speed up the replenishment of "capillaries" of sewage collection. We will vigorously promote the separation of clean water and sewage, the renewal and repair of pipe network, and the transformation of mixed and wrong connection, so as to reduce the leakage of sewage in the transportation process and improve the efficiency of centralized collection. In order to reduce the frequency of Overflow Pollution in extreme weather such as rain and flood, urban waterlogging should be alleviated.

•In order to solve the outlet problem of sludge in the actual treatment process, the disposal technology route should be selected according to local conditions, the sludge landfill should be limited and the scale should be gradually reduced. Large and medium-sized cities with limited land use should take the lead in promoting sludge incineration disposal.

•Supplement the short board of basic data platform and promote the construction of information system.

All localities should carry out thorough investigation of domestic sewage collection pipe network, establish geographic information system orderly according to law, and explore the construction of intelligent management platform.
